Small manufacturer in North Kent, had seen sales decline to £275,000. Nearly 40% were from exports.


MTfM were able to deliver the following benefits :


1. Sales analysis

Helped to identify the most profitable customers (80% of profits come from 20% of customers). A survey of a small sample of the top customers, revealed a number of new sales opportunities through better Account Management.


2. Business development

We also identified a number of new product opportunities and undertook some test marketing to establish sales and profit potential. The combination of these two activities has increased sales by 20% in first 6 months, and exceeded expectations. This amounted to nearly £50,000


3. International sourcing

Raw materials costs represented almost 25% of sales, with the largest amount being on the actual rubber compound itself. From UK Supplier. Manufacturer in Oxfordshire, had been supplying a number of mathematical and scientific aids, to primary schools, and up to universities. The sales had declined quite considerably to £400,000. Around 15% were from exports.
